2.250" Shaft - Bronze Heavy Hex Castle Nut

This bronze heavy hex castle nut is manufactured for 2.250-inch inboard propeller shafts with a 1 3/4″-5 NC right-hand thread. Designed for very large shaft diameters, the coarse thread profile and heavy hex construction support high clamping loads and proper torque during installation. The castellated crown allows cotter pin locking to mechanically secure the nut against rotation. Cast from marine-grade bronze, it delivers excellent corrosion resistance and is well suited for commercial vessels, large yachts, and heavy-duty shaft-drive marine systems.
