The Lasdrop Gen II shaft seal is a premium, dripless mechanical face seal for boats, known for its longevity and minimal maintenance requirements compared to traditional stuffing boxes. It features a unique ball-bearing drive system and a 316-marine grade stainless steel spring to maintain a watertight seal.

Design: 

It features a unique ball-bearing drive system that allows the stainless-steel seal ring to "float" and maintains constant contact with the carbon graphite friction surface, providing a watertight seal.

Construction: 

The unit utilizes a durable copolymer and 316-marine grade stainless steel components, including non-perforated hose clamps with rolled edges for enhanced strength and to prevent hose damage. Maintenance: The innovative pressure housing design eliminates the traditional bellows hose, resulting in a longer lifespan and less maintenance compared to standard bellows systems. The clamping system secures the assembly without the use of set screws, preventing potential shaft damage.

Sizing & Ports: 

Available for shaft sizes from 1" to 5" in diameter (and metric equivalents), all units come with dual water injection ports and necessary hardware.
