2.00" Shaft - Bronze Heavy Hex Castle Nut

This bronze heavy hex castle nut is designed for 2.00-inch inboard propeller shafts with a 1 1/2″-6 NC right-hand thread. Commonly used on large shaft systems, the oversized thread and heavy hex profile allow for high-torque installation while maintaining full thread engagement. The castellated top accepts a cotter pin to mechanically lock the nut in place, helping prevent loosening under sustained load. Cast from marine-grade bronze, this nut provides excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability for heavy-duty shaft-drive and commercial marine applications.
