Flexofold shock absorbers are replacement dampers that help the blades open smoothly and protect the hub and helical gearing from impact during operation. Flexofold also recommends replacing the full set at the same time to avoid imbalance and unnecessary gearing wear.

Flexofold T025N202 is a replacement shock absorber (polyurethane bumper) used in Flexofold Classic folding propellers. It installs inside the hub and cushions the blades as they open and close, reducing shock loads on the internal helical gears.
