36" Michigan M500 II Bronze Inboard Boat Propeller

Michigan Legacy II Offshore propellers are essentially classic Michigan Wheel prop patterns from the company’s Legacy Series. These props are produced by Nakashima propeller (Vietnam) with proven performance, and ability to serve as direct replacements for older or current Michigan legacy style propeller designs. Propellers come with full inspection reports that exceed ISO Class 1 specifiations.

The M-500 is selected by many operators for new boat construction, re-powers, and propeller upgrades. When compared to the Dyna-Quad, the extra blade and additional blade area provides potential for increased thrust without increasing propeller diameter, which may be impossible due to clearance considerations. The M-500 is the top choice on installations where heavy v-struts or other hull appendages affect inflow, where a propeller with a lower blade number could produce significant vibration due to the inflow variations. The M-500 provides exceptional durability with performance approaching a custom propeller at the cost of a standard series propeller.

The M-500 an increasingly popular choice in recreational boating, particularly on sportfish, high speed cruisers, and yachts.
