A Michigan Weedless propeller is a specialized marine prop designed to shed weeds, grass, and debris instead of wrapping it around the hub or blades. It’s built for boats that operate in shallow, weedy, or debris-heavy water where standard props tend to foul.

What makes it Weedless

• Aggressive blade rake & sweep – the blades angle backward to slice and throw off vegetation
• Low blade count (usually 2 or 3 blades) – fewer edges for weeds to grab
• Thick, durable blade sections – resist damage from sticks and debris
• Often paired with a blunt or tapered hub – helps prevent wrapping at the root

What it’s good at

• Running through lily pads, eel grass, hydrilla
• Maintaining thrust when a normal prop would clog
